LUA
HELP AND PROCEDURES

Answers to frequently asked questions

We explain specifically how we operate in Lublin. Court is a last resort – we help close the topic without unnecessary formalities.

Is an arbitration verdict really binding?

Yes. Our rulings have the same legal force as state court verdicts. You can enforce them with a bailiff in Poland and abroad. (By the way, 23% of our cases end in a settlement even before a formal verdict is issued).

How long will it take to solve my problem?

Typical proceedings at LUA last from 4 to 8 weeks. Compared to common courts in Lublin, where one waits an average of 14 months for a resolution, you save almost a year of work and nerves.

What are the costs of arbitration compared to court?

We use clear rules of the game. You pay a fixed rate for arbitrator's working hours, and not a percentage of the value of the dispute. Thanks to this, in a typical case for payment our clients save around 3,200 PLN on the process costs themselves.

Will my contract details remain confidential?

Discretion is our standard. Unlike public court hearings, arbitration takes place behind closed doors. No information about the conflict will reach competitors, media, or public registers.

Do you help in disputes with companies from Germany or France?

Yes. We specialize in disputes between companies from Poland and Western Europe. We help break legal and cultural barriers that often block agreement. We solve the problem, we don't look for the guilty.

What do I need to do to report a case?

It's best to have an LUA clause written in the contract. If you don't have it, both sides must sign a consent for arbitration before the start. Preparation of preliminary documentation usually takes 3 business days.

How can we start cooperation?

Choose a path suited to the current situation in your company.
