Talks where others only see a wall

Since 2018, Lublin Union Arbitrage has been helping companies out of stalemates when traditional communication channels fail. In 2023 alone, we conducted 37 cases in which one side stopped answering phones or replying to emails. We are not a law firm that immediately sends threatening letters. We act like mediators who understand that in business, time and the maintenance of trade relations count. Our team has 4 people who specialize in extinguishing conflicts between a small company and a large corporation.

When a large contractor holds payment for the last 14 deliveries, emotions for the supplier grow. We enter the game to calm these emotions. We use a specific 5-step protocol that allows us to determine where the real technical or financial problem lies. Usually, we prepare the first analysis of the situation within 3 business days. (Heads-up: We do not undertake cases involving evident tax fraud – we value clean rules of the game).

Our method is based on hard data. Instead of general requests, we present calculations of losses and gains for both sides resulting from prolonging the dispute. In one of our recent cases, concerning 11 trailers of goods blocked at the border, we managed to lead to an agreement in 8 days. This allowed our client to avoid a contractual penalty of 12,400 zlotys per day. Court is a last resort, which is why we focus on direct contact with decision-makers to whom salespeople often do not have access.

We mainly serve companies from the transport, production, and food sectors from near Lublin and Białystok. We know how to talk to offices and purchasing departments that operate according to rigid procedures. Our role is to find a gap in these procedures that will allow for the payout of funds or return of goods. Discretion is our standard, so no negotiation details leak to the competition or industry media.

We close conflicts without the participation of third parties, which shortens the entire process by an average of 14 months compared to the court route. The cost of our intervention is usually 60% lower than fees for lawyers in multi-year trials.
